togis are galaxy-driven aliens residing on saturn. since saturn is a planet mainly made of gas, these cuties are light, virtually weightless with the help of the low gravity in order to traverse the planet.

togis are non-binary creatures who are friendly and curious about earth. they display a lot of human-like qualities, but are especially small. they have zero concept of pronouns, gender or sex (since any togi can mate with any other togi), so after visiting earth, togis often choose pronouns to go by that feel right to them.

V!SUALS

horns come in three sizes- small, medium and large:
• these sizes depend on how close to saturn's rings the togi was born

normal togis have three color palettes:
• morning = pink/orange/yellow
• afternoon = red/brown/black
• evening = purple/blue/green

royal togis have the following traits:
• forehead birthmark
• one color monochromatic palette
• large, ram-style horns

DO TOGIS EAT ?

togis receive sustenance from plugging their tails into saturn's surface and absorbing the nutrients from the gas. this means they do not necessarily need to eat, but they are very attracted to earthly fruits and sweets.

DOES BEING ON EARTH MAKE TOGIS SICK ?

i wouldn't say it makes them sick, but since they are fragile and not used to being so close to the sun, sometimes they develop different skin disorders (vitiligo, rosacea, etc) and are prone to being sunburnt.

HOW ARE TOGIS BORN ? & DO THEY HAVE PARENTS ?

yes, togis have parents. togis are born from the joining of the stardust of two togis' tails. the stardust combines, creating a brilliant light, and thus the togi is born. because of all of the togis wanting to give royal birth (aka on the rings), the rings are actually protected by the royal guard to prevent the population from being entirely royal. this causes a lot of havoc among citizens. so, it's very lucky in the common age for one to be born.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF TOGI ROYALTY ?

the only thing that's really beneficial that togi royalty gets is the pride of the fact that they were born on the rings (aka saturn's most prized area). they're treated as a sense of hierarchy, meaning normal togis would view them with utmost respect. they also tend to be protected by normal togi bodyguards

IS THERE ANY KIND OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ROYAL TOGIS ?

if they are born illegally, yes. that means that someone managed to cross over to the rings and give birth without some kind of permission from the king and queen. that togi's parents are disposed of and the child stripped of it's colors. this means the togi will have plain black horns and no stripes of color. that is the way to tell if the child was illegally born. because of this, normally "illegal royalty" cover their horns with their hats or hair and are ashamed of themselves and their right to be born. they are normally ridiculed by the other togis and seek safe haven on earth where they will not be judged for such cases.

IS THERE A KING & QUEEN TOGI ?

yes, there is a king and queen. but they're merely figure heads to represent the togian society. they are nal and dal. they were decided as king and queen because they were the first set of royal togis ever created.
